This is why the entire drain pan needs to be sanitized by dispensing all the way to the back of the drain pan. The drain line will then also be sanitized as the sanitizer flows out of the drain pan. Just dispensing into the drain lines is only half of the solution as the condensate originates inside the AC system. Zoogloea proliferates throughout the drain pan so the optimum solution is to dispense sanitizer throughout the entire pan which is what the Zoog Zapper is designed to do on a consistent basis.

This customer wanted to be able to vacuum his own drain line occasionally - which is a good thing!  I installed a Zoog Zapper in his home and he wanted to try out the INCLUDED ZoogOut vacuum hose adapter as he had trouble vacuuming out the drain line previously. The Zoog Zapper system had been installed for three months and his was a very clog-prone system. His AC system would clog in 5-6 weeks after cleaning. Also just as important, there was ZERO growth inside the AC cabinet which is where bacteria also multiplies and clogs. Taking an idea to fruition is a lot of work, combined with a lot of testing to make sure the system operates properly for many years to come - and of course - does what the system was initially intended to do!
