ZoogSnake Operation and Warnings

Read these warnings and watch the operating video before using the ZoogSnake.

The ZoogSnake uses a rotating metal spring. If used incorrectly, the spring can twist, kink, whip around, or catch your hands, clothing, hair, or jewelry.

• Wear safety glasses and snug-fitting work gloves. Do not wear loose gloves that could become caught in the rotating spring.
• Keep your hands, hair, clothing, and jewelry away from the rotating spring and drill.
• Never touch or grab the spring while it is rotating. Turn off the drill and remove its battery before touching the spring or making any adjustment.
• Keep control of the spring at all times. Do not allow the exposed spring to form a large loop or twist around itself.
• Inspect the ZoogSnake before every use. Do not use it if the spring is kinked, badly bent, broken, heavily worn, or has a loose or damaged connection.
• The ZoogSnake is designed specifically for 3/4-inch air-conditioning condensate drain lines. Do not use it in toilets, sewer lines, gas lines, or pipes containing hazardous materials.
• Turn off power to the air-conditioning equipment before working inside or near the equipment. Stay clear of exposed wiring and electrical components.
• Keep the drill, your hands, and the work area dry. Do not operate electrical equipment while standing in water.
• Do not use the ZoogSnake in a drain line containing drain-opening chemicals, acids, or other strong chemicals. These materials can splash and cause burns or eye injuries.
• Keep children, pets, and other people away from the work area while the ZoogSnake is being used.
